UPDATE: Eastbound Highway 401 reopened at Union Road

The Ontario Provincial Police have reopened eastbound Highway 401 following a collision.

Few details have been disclosed, but the incident occurred around 1:30 p.m. Tuesday on the eastbound side of the highway at Union Road in Southwold.

All eastbound lanes were closed for several hours while police remained at the scene.

Around 4 p.m., OPP announced that the highway was reopened.
