Police nab suspect after woman inappropriately touched from behind

A London man is now facing a sexual assault charge after a woman was touched inappropriately while walking her dog.

The London Police Service said on June 23, the woman was walking in the area of McNay Street and Victoria Street when a man she did not know approached her from behind and touched her inappropriately. She did not suffer any physical injuries.

On Monday, police said they have now charged 35-year-old John David George of London in connection with the incident. George is facing one count of sexual assault and he remained in custody following his arrest with a court date scheduled for Monday.
