Woman pulled from north London pool dies

A 28-year-old woman who was pulled from a swimming pool in the Masonville area on Sunday has died.

The woman was found unresponsive in the pool at a home on Mohawk Drive around 4:15 p.m. She was rushed to hospital where she was later pronounced dead.

The cause of death has not been released, but London police have said foul play is not suspected.

This was the second water-related incident to claim a life in southwestern Ontario this weekend. A man died in hospital Friday after he was rescued from the waters of Lake Huron near Southampton. South Bruce OPP said the man's small aluminum boat was spotted travelling in circles before bystanders pulled him from the water.
