The collision happened Friday afternoon and forced the Ontario Provincial Police to close all eastbound lanes of the highway from Veterans Memorial Parkway to Westchester Bourne. One left lane was reopened shortly after.
Few other details are available, but the vehicles involved in the crash have been moved to the shoulder and the highway is now clear.
People in southern Huron and Lambton counties are being told to limit their time outside.
