Crash leads police to stolen vehicle

London police are investigating after a stolen car was involved in a crash.

Sunday morning at around 10:42 a.m. London Police responded to reports of a crash involving two vehicles.

The crash happened on Wonderland Road at Dingman Drive.  One vehicle was travelling in the northbound lane on Wonderland Road and turned left in front of a second vehicle traveling in the southbound lane, causing them to crash.

Both drivers suffered minor injuries and were transported to hospital.

One of the cars was later determined to be stolen.

Police were on the lookout for the car and were later notified by OnStar, of the location of a stolen vehicle.

At 12:51 p.m. police responded to the area of Belgrave Avenue at Emery Street where there was a short pursuit of the stolen vehicle.

Two suspects fled from the stolen vehicle and were arrested by London Police with the help of the London Police K9 unit.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
