Police investigate unprovoked attack in St. Thomas

Police in St. Thomas are looking for a suspect after an unprovoked attack on Saturday night.

According to police, it happened around 8:30 p.m. in the parking lot of a local restaurant. A 42-year-old man was in the parking lot when he was approached by a man who proceeded to punch him several times.

The suspect also got away with the victim's phone.

Police describe the suspect as a man in his 40s who is 6 feet tall with a muscular build. He was last seen wearing a white baseball cap, a blue tank top and shorts.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
