Complaint about loud music leads to stabbing

A man is in hospital and another is in custody after a stabbing in the east end of the city.

London police said officers were called to a home on Second Street around 12:15 a.m. Thursday after two men got into an altercation. According to police, it all started when one of the men complained about loud music. A 29-year-old man was stabbed, suffering non-life threatening injuries.

A 30-year-old man was arrested. Richard Prince of London is charged with one count of aggravated assault.

He was expected to appear in court Thursday.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
