Mother's vehicle scratched by impatient driver

Oxford OPP are looking for a suspect with little patience after a woman had her vehicle damaged for taking too long to buckle her kids inside.

The woman was loading her kids into her vehicle at a service centre off Highway 401 in southwest Oxford County Sunday evening when she was approached by a driver waiting for the parking spot. Seemingly irritated by how long was taking her to vacate the spot, the man got out of a pickup truck and scratched the side of the woman's vehicle. He then took off in his truck.

Security surveillance footage of the incident is being reviewed to try to identify the man, police said.

The man is described as being in his late 50s and was driving a silver Chevrolet Silverado pickup.

Anyone with information about this incident is asked to call police at 1-888-310-1122 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477 (TIPS).
