Charges laid after a gun call in London

A London man has been arrested after he allegedly pointed a firearm at another man during an argument.

Police said the suspect was arrested Saturday night outside a restaurant on Commissioners Road West near Boler Road after a fight. The fight between the two men began following an argument inside.

Investigators said the victim left the restaurant but the suspect followed him, took a gun from his vehicle, and allegedly pointed the firearm at the victim while threatening him. The victim was able to remove the firearm from the accused’s hands.

The suspect was treated and released from hospital as a result of the fight. The victim was not injured.

The firearm was an airsoft pistol.

Jordon J. Ohagan, 32, of London was charged with possession of a weapon, pointing a firearm, and uttering threats of death or bodily harm.

Police said the accused and the victim are not known to each other.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
