Crash in Norfolk County knocks out power 

A driver from the United Kingdom is facing impaired driving charges after a collision in Norfolk County Saturday night.

The driver managed to knock over powerlines in the area during the collision.

According to OPP West via Twitter, the power should be restored by around 12:00 a.m. Sunday.

The passenger was not hurt during the accident.

Police have closed Lakeshore road between Highway 59 and West Quater Line Road.

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
