London police have a man in custody and have taken two guns off the streets after a bust in the northwest end of the city.
Officers with the Guns and Drugs Section searched a home on Brunswick Crescent on Thursday and seized a .410 gauge sawed-off shotgun and a .25 calibre handgun. They also seized dozens of rounds of ammunition.
Kokoete Anietie Udoh, 38, of London, is charged with:
- Two counts of possession of a prohibited or restricted weapon or prohibited device
- Resisting arrest
- Possession of a firearm or ammunition contrary to a prohibition order
- Two counts of possession of a loaded/unloaded regulated firearm
- Three counts of careless storage of firearm, weapon, prohibited device or ammunition
