Police search for suspect in St. Thomas

Police in St. Thomas are searching for a man that allegedly stole two cars and is wanted in connection to a break and enter.

Early in the morning on Saturday, police recovered a stolen Ford F-150 in the Talbotville area however the suspect was not located. Then later on Saturday morning, Elgin County OPP responded to reports of a stolen 2010 Green Toyota Rav-4 taken from a Ford Road address. Police believe the suspect used this car to flee from the scene of the other stolen vehicle.

St Thomas Police are continuing to actively search for 36-year-old James Alexander Brown who is known to frequent both the London and St. Thomas area.

Brown is also wanted in connection to a break, enter and theft following an incident at a St. Thomas landscaping company on Friday morning.

Anyone with information on Brown's whereabouts or who sees him is asked to not approach him but instead contact local police immediately.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
