Police investigating after shots fired

London police are looking for answers after shots were fired in the Coves area.

Police were called around 10:20 p.m. Tuesday after reports of gunshots in the area of Greenwood Avenue and Springbank Drive. When officers arrived, they found evidence that a gun had been fired several times. No injuries were reported and officers weren't able to find any damage.

"A black car and a beige or silver pickup truck were seen leaving the area immediately after the gunshots were heard," police said in a news release issued Thursday. "The car travelled south on Greenwood Avenue and the pickup truck travelled east on Springbank Drive."

Police say the investigation is in its early stages.
