Charges laid in crash that killed three Londoners

A collision near Listowel that killed a London woman and her parents has led to charges against a truck driver.

Stephanie Roloson, 28, and her parents, 60-year-old Walter Yetman and 58-year-old Donna Yetman were killed on June 21 when their SUV was hit by a tractor trailer that didn't stop at a stop sign at the intersection of Perth Road 178 and Perth Line 88. Roloson's two-year-old son Rowan survived the collision.

After a lengthy investigation, the Huron County Ontario Provincial Police announced that charges have been laid against the driver of the truck. Gurvinder Singh, 38, of Brampton has been charged with three counts of criminal negligence causing death and one count of criminal negligence causing bodily harm.

He was arrested on Thursday. He has since appeared in court and been released from custody. He is to appear in court on in Goderich on September 30.

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
