Charges laid in sports bar stabbings

A London man is now facing charges after three men were stabbed at an east-end sports bar on the weekend.

Emergency crews were called to the Players Sports Hub Bar and Grill on Dundas Street at Calgary street around 1:45 a.m. Sunday. Whey they arrived, they found three men suffering from stab wounds. The victims were taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

Two men had taken off from the scene before police arrived. The K9 unit was brought in to search the area and a suspect was arrested at a nearby home.

John Jordan Brown, 24, of London is charged with three counts each of aggravated assault and assault with a weapon.

Police are still looking for a second suspect. He is described as a bald man with tanned skin who was wearing a jersey style t-shirt, khaki shorts, long black socks, and black running shoes with white soles.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
