Sketch of sexual assault suspect released

London police have released a composite sketch of a suspect wanted in connection with a sexual assault in the White Oaks area last month.

A woman was in the area of Conway Drive and Ernest Avenue around 1:30 a.m. on August 28 when she was grabbed from behind by a man and thrown to the ground. The man sexually assaulted the woman before taking off as a vehicle approached the area.

Police are hopeful someone will be able to identify the man in the sketch (shown above), which was released publicly on Tuesday.

The suspect is described as having a tanned complexion and a muscular build. He was between 5'10" and 6'0" in height, 30-36 years of age, with brown hair styled in a brush cut. He was clean-shaven and had a large tattoo on his right upper arm.

Anyone who recognizes the man or has information about this incident is asked to call police at 519-661-5670.
