Londoner charged after stabbing in Petrolia

Police have charged a London woman in connection with a stabbing that occurred in Petrolia over the weekend.

The Ontario Provincial Police said on Sunday shortly before 10:40 p.m., a man was stabbed during an altercation on Robert Street.

The victim was taken to a local hospital and then transfered to a hospital in London where he was treated for non-life threatening injuries.  The age of the victim has not been released.

A 21-year-old London woman has been arrested and is now charged with aggravated assault.

The name of the accused has not been released.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
