Police seek driver in Oxford hit-and-run

Provincial police are trying to track down a van driver who allegedly crashed into another vehicle and then sped away south of Woodstock.

A vehicle was heading west on Salford Road when it was T-boned by a northbound red Toyota van at Oxford Road 13 just after 6 p.m. on Tuesday.

According to Oxford OPP, the van immediately drove away from the scene and was last seen heading north on Oxford Road 13.

No one was hurt in the crash.

Police are now looking to speak with the van driver.

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
