Man charged after stabbing

London police have a man in custody after a stabbing at a south end motel.

Police and ambulance crews were called to a motel on Wharncliffe Road South around 10:30 p.m. Thursday. When they arrived, they found a man suffering from stab wounds. He was taken to hospital with what police are calling non-life threatening injuries.

A suspect ran from the scene, but was arrested.

William Ronald George, 26, of London is charged with aggravated assault.

Police say the suspect and victim knew each other.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
