Pedestrian hit by train

Provincial police in Oxford County are investigating after a pedestrian was hit by a freight train in Ingersoll.

It happened on the Canadian National rail line near Union Street and Victoria Street around 12:09 a.m. on Tuesday.

According to police, the pedestrian was rushed to hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
