UPDATE: Westbound 401 near London reopened following collision

Drivers had to deal with major delays on Highway 401 west of London after two tractor trailers collided Thursday afternoon causing a shutdown of the westbound lanes.

The crash happened between Colonel Talbot Road and Union Road just after 1 p.m.

No one was hurt, but clean up from the crash took several hours to complete.

Drivers were rerouted off the highway until around 5:15 p.m. when the 401 was completely reopened to traffic.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
