Knights outplay Generals 5-1

The London Knights defeated the Oshawa Generals 5-1 on Sunday.

Matvey Guskov kicked off the game with a goal 8:40 in the first period for the Knights. Ty Tullio responded with a power-play goal for the Generals. The Knights' Luke Evangelista scored at 12:57.

Connor McMichael and Alec Regula scored two consecutive power-play goals for the Knights to start the second period. Liam Foudy extended the Knights lead to four.

London goalie Dylan Myskiw saved 28 out of 29 shots on net.

The Knights return to Budweiser Gardens to face off against the North Bay Battalion on Friday. Puck drops at 7:30 p.m.

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
