Body found in Lake Erie identified as missing U.S. man

Human remains found late last month along the Lake Erie shoreline in Long Point have been identified as a missing Pennsylvania fisherman.

Hunters made the gruesome discovery on October 25.

The man has been identified as Raymond Burns, 59, of New Kensington, Pennsylvania, Norfolk OPP said. Burns had been missing since August when the fishing boat he was on sank in the Ohio area.

The death is not considered suspicious.
