Child seriously injured in three-vehicle crash

A four-year-old child is fighting to survive after being injured in a three-vehicle collision in Southwest Middlesex.

The Ontario Provincial Police said the vehicles collided at Glendon Drive and Melbourne Road on Monday shortly before 8:20 p.m.

The four-year-old, whose gender has not been released, was rushed to hospital from the scene with life-threatening injuries.

Glendon Drive between Springfield Road and Glen Oak Road, and Melbourne Road between Falconbridge Drive and Parkhouse Drive have been closed while officers conduct an investigation.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
