Thick fog leads to bus cancellations

Kids in Oxford and Middlesex County will be able to get a little extra shuteye Tuesday morning as thick fog has led to the cancellation of school buses in both counties.

According to MyBigYellowBus.ca, school purpose vehicles are cancelled this morning in Oxford and Middlesex. A full list of the cancellations can be found by clicking here.

Much of southwestern Ontario is under a fog advisory issued by Environment Canada. Fog is reducing visibility out on the roads to near zero in some spots. There is also a risk of freezing drizzle. Conditions are expected to improve throughout the morning on Tuesday.

Afternoon school buses are expected to operate as normal.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
