Police identify victim of fatal motorcycle crash

A Norfolk County man has been identified as the motorcyclist killed in a two-vehicle crash just west of Port Dover.

The Ontario Provincial Police said on Tuesday shortly before 3:40 p.m., 48-year-old Paul Morton suffered serious life-threatening injuries after his motorcycle collided with an SUV at the intersection of Radical Road and Forest Glen Court. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

The driver of the SUV was not injured in the crash.

Radical Road between Port Ryerse Road and Blue Line Road was closed for around seven hours while officers conducted an investigation, which remains ongoing.

It is unknown if any charges will be laid in connection with the crash.

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
