(Photo courtesy of the OPP via Twitter)A five-year member of the Ontario Provincial Police has been charged following a two-vehicle collision in Simcoe involving a police cruiser.
The Ontario Provincial Police said on Wednesday shortly before 4 p.m., the police cruiser and a pickup truck collided at the intersection of West Street and Queen Street.
No one was injured in the crash.
As a result, the provincial constable driving the cruiser is now charged with failing to yield to traffic and was issued a Provincial Offences Notice.
People in southern Huron and Lambton counties are being told to limit their time outside.
