Four charged in nearly $60K drug bust

Four Londoners are facing charges after police seized almost $60,000 worth of drugs.

According to London police, officers raided homes on Hummingbird Crescent and Wonderland Road South on Thursday. They seized 571 grams of cocaine, 12 grams of crack cocaine, 14 hydromorphone bills, 52 Oxycodone pills, about $10,000 in cash, digital scale, cellular phones, and a 2014 BMW.

Abbas Alebeid, 26, of London is charged with six counts of possession of a Schedule I substance for the purpose of trafficking.

Alecia Gruber, 36, of London is charged with two counts of possession of a Schedule I substance for the purpose of trafficking.

Lindsay Marr, 24, of London is charged with possession of a Schedule I substance for the purpose of trafficking.

A 16-year-old London male, who cannot be named because of his age, is charged with two counts of possession of a Schedule I substance for the purpose of trafficking.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
