Bike lock used to smash cafe window

Police in St. Thomas are asking the public for help identifying a suspect who used a bike lock to smash the front window of a downtown cafe.

The incident happened between 5 p.m. and 9 p.m. on Thursday at the Grace Cafe on Talbot Street.

A surveillance camera captured the moment a man rode up to the cafe on his bike and proceeded to smash the large window with a bike lock.

Police have now released a surveillance image of the suspect and are asking anyone who recognizes the individual to call them at 519-631-1224.
