Over 100 pigs stolen from Oxford County farm

Police are looking for suspects after one or more ham-burglars made off with around 130 pigs from an Oxford County farm.

The Ontario Provincial Police said sometime between November 9 and November 29, an unknown number of thieves stole the six-month-old swine from a farm in South West Oxford.  The farmer notified police on Thursday that the theft had occurred.

Each of the pigs weighs about 300 pounds.

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
