Knights double Sting 4-2

The London Knights topped the Sarnia Sting 4-2 in OHL action on Tuesday.

After a scoreless first period, Sean McGurn and Billy Moskal scored in the second to give London a 2-0 lead heading into the final frame.

The Sting made it on the board with a goal early in the third, but Luke Evangelista added another for London with just under five minutes left in the game. With just over a minute left to play, Sarnia scored once again to make it a one-goal game. However, Evangelista scored his second goal of the night with 45 seconds left to cap off London's victory.

Knights goaltender Dylan Myskiw made 29 saves out of 31 shots on net.

The Knights are at home again on Friday to take on the Mississauga Steelheads at 7:30 p.m.

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
