Crash closes part of Highway 402 in Mount Brydges

A collision kept the westbound lanes of Highway 402 in Mount Brydges closed for roughly seven hours.

The Ontario Provincial Police reported the crash shortly after 11 p.m. on Thursday.

The westbound lanes were closed at Glendon Drive overnight. The stretch of highway was reopened shortly after 5 a.m.Friday.

A snow squall warning was in effect for eastern Lambton County and Middlesex County at the time of the crash, but police have not stated if weather was a factor. No further details have been released at this time.

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
