Knights conquer Otters 5-2

The London Knights defeated the Erie Otters 5-2 on Sunday.

Chad Yetman was the first to score for the Otters 4:09 into the first period. The Knights' Connor McMichael scored a  goal 12:07 into the period.

McMichael scored again 5:22 into the second period.

Alec Regula extended the Knights lead with a powerplay goal 7:19 into the third period. Brendan Sellan answered with a goal for the Otters. McMichael scored once again followed by a goal from Luke Evangelista 18:38 into the frame.

London goalie Brett Brochu saved 24 out of 26 shots on net.

The Knights will face-off against the Windsor Spitfires at the WFCU Centre on Thursday. Puck drops at 7:05 p.m.

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
