Second-guessing John robbed

Three people face charges after a man who tried to buy sexual services before changing his mind was robbed.

According to London police, a man responded to an online ad for sexual services last week and then met a woman at a local hotel. Police said he changed his mind and tried to leave. However, the woman and another man who was with her refused to let the man leave until he paid her. After he did, he called police to say that he had been the victim of a robbery.

Police said the man suffered minor injuries in the incident.

A 19-year-old woman and a 28-year-old man, both from Quebec, are charged with robbery with violence. A 27-year-old man is charged with communication for the purpose of obtaining sexual services.

All three have been released from custody and will appear in court at a later date.
