Hazmat team called to Western after minor spill

No one was hurt after a minor chemical spill at Western University late Tuesday night.

The London fire department's hazardous materials team was called about the level two hazmat situation at the university's engineering building around 11:30 p.m.

Crews ran air quality tests to ensure student safety before clearing the area.

The cause of the incident and what type of chemical was spilled has not been released.
