Knights top 67s 4-2

The London Knights defeated The Ottawa 67s 4-2 during Monday's Family Day game.

Ottawa took the lead and was on the board 56 seconds into the first period. However, Connor McMichael scored the Knights' first goal, tying things up early.

After a goalless second period, London took the lead when Alec Regula scored at 5:54 of the third period. Marco Rossi evened the score for Ottawa, before Jonathan Gruden gave the Knights a lead that they would not give up. Liam Foudy scored an empty net goal to make the final 4-2 Knights.

London goalie Brett Brochu made 43 saves out of 45 shots.

The Knights will hit the road on Thursday to play The Windsor Spitfires at 7:05 p.m.
