Lightning down Express 124-110

The London Lightning has struck down the Windsor Express for the second time in one week after taking Saturday night's game 124-110.

Saturday's victory follows a 125-121 win in Windsor for the Lightning on Wednesday.

London held a 33-22 lead in the first quarter on Saturday but the Express were able to edge into the lead during the second 58-57. That lead for Windsor was shortlived as the Lightning came back in the third with a 91-84 lead to ultimately maintain that momentum and win the game.

Cameron Forte led the Lightning with 31 points and 12 rebounds. Forte is new to the team as the Lighting just announced his signing on February 25.

Chris Jones was the lead scorer for Windsor with 29 points and nine rebounds, while Kirk Williams Jr. had 28 points with 14 rebounds.

The Lightning will play again on March 7 when they face the Sudbury Five. Tipoff is at 7 p.m.

Meanwhile, the Express are on home court on March 6 when they play host to the St. John's Edge at 7 p.m.
