Homes damaged by vehicle fire in east London

London firefighters had to work quickly to save two east-end homes from going up in flames after a pair of vehicles between the structures caught fire Tuesday night.

Crews were called about a vehicle fire at 516 English St. between Lorne and Princess avenues just before 9 p.m. When they arrived on scene they found two vehicles fully engulfed by flames in a shared driveway between two homes.

Using an aggressive offensive attack, firefighters were able to extinguish the blaze and limit the damage to the homes.

No one was hurt in the incident.

A damage estimate has not been released.

The investigation into the cause of the fire is ongoing.
