Two police officers taken to hospital after crash

Two London police officers had to be taken to hospital after they were involved in a crash while responding to a call.

The London Police Service said the officers were responding to the area of Bonaventure Drive and Moreau Cresent at around 5:13 p.m. on Wednesday when the collision occurred.

The two officers did not suffer serious injuries but were taken to hospital for "precautionary measures."

At the time of the crash, the officers were responding to a report of a weapon in the area, however, no weapons were found at the scene and no one was harmed or threatened with the reported weapon.

No further information regarding the collision has been provided at this time.
