London man seriously injured in motorcycle crash

A London man had to be airlifted to hospital following a motorcycle crash near Port Rowan.

The Ontario Provincial Police said on Sunday shortly before 2:12 p.m., the driver of a motorcycle lost control and crashed into a ditch along Lakeshore Road in South Walsingham. The driver, a 39-year-old London man, was ejected from his motorcycle as it entered the ditch.

The man was airlifted to a hospital in the Hamilton-area to be treated for serious non-life threatening injuries.

OPP Technical Collision Investigators attended the scene of the crash and the investigation is ongoing.

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
