UPDATE: Rollover crash sends two people to hospital

Two people have been taken to hospital following a single-vehicle crash in south London.

The London Police Service said on Tuesday at around 7 p.m., a vehicle left the road while travelling on Wellington Road South near Westminster Drive and rolled. The vehicle also struck a hydro pole and downed several hydro wires.

London Hydro attended the scene to disconnect the live wires.

The driver of the vehicle, a 19-year-old woman, and a passenger, a 20-year-old man, were extricated from the vehicle and taken to hospital to be treated for minor injuries.

Police closed the road for over an hour to clear the scene. The road has since been reopened to traffic.

The cause of the crash remains under investigation.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
