Two charged in $55K coke bust

London police say two people are charged after officer seized over $55,000 worth of cocaine and about $70,000 in cash.

Officers with the Guns and Drugs Section searched a home on Upper Canada Crossing on Thursday. They seized 558 grams of cocaine and the cash.

A 25-year-old and a 35-year-old are charged with possession of a schedule 1 substance. The 25-year-old is also charged with possession for the purpose of trafficking and possesion of property obtained by crime.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
