One dead after dirt bike, SUV collide

A 23-year-old Langton man is dead after a two-vehicle crash involving a dirt bike over the weekend in Oxford County.

The dirt bike and an SUV collided at the intersection of Oxford Road 13 and Ninth Road in Norwich Township just before 12:15 a.m. on Saturday, Oxford OPP said.

The 23-year-old man driving the dirt bike suffered life-threatening injuries. He later died in hospital.

He has been identified as Logan Evens of Langton.

The occupants of the SUV were treated for minor injuries.

The intersection was closed for several hours while OPP technical traffic investigators probed the cause of the crash.

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
