Woodstock police looking for cyclist after crash

Police in Woodstock are trying to track down a cyclist believed to have been involved in a crash that sent a second cyclist to hospital.

Officers were called to the area of Perry Street and Dundas Street after a vehicle and cyclist collided on Friday. The cyclist suffered minor injuries and was taken to hospital for treatment.

The cyclist was later charged with failure to yield to traffic on a through highway.

Police are asking for the public's help identifying another cyclists who was also involved in the incident. According to police, the male cyclists took off from the scene before officers arrived. A description of the cyclist was not released.

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
