London man charged in Windsor for drug trafficking

A 32-year-old London man has been charged following a drug investigation in Windsor.

Windsor police's Drugs and Guns Unit (DIGS) had been looking into the trafficking of drugs and the investigation uncovered the identity of a suspect and a vehicle.

According to Constable Talya Natyshak, the suspect and his vehicle were stopped around noon Wednesday on Wyandotte Street East at Erskine Street. The man was arrested without incident and upon a search of the vehicle, an unspecified amount of suspected cocaine was allegedly found.

Emmett Campbell has been charged with one count each of cocaine possession with the intent to sell, and breach of probation.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
