Stabbings lead to charges

London police say a man was taken into custody after an argument led to two men being stabbed.

According to police, just before 8 p.m. Saturday, three men got into an argument in a home on Waterloo Street. One of the victims was stabbed during the argument. Then, the other victim was assaulted and stabbed. After the second stabbing, a suspect took off and police were called.

An arrest was made not far from the scene.

Police say one of the victims suffered minor injuries, while the other was taken to hospital with serious, but non-life threatening injuries.

Raymond Scott Peters, 35, of London is charged with assault with a weapon, aggravated assault, and failing to comply with a release order.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
