St. Thomas school repeatedly vandalized

Police in St. Thomas are asking the public to watch for suspicious behaviour around a local elementary school that has been repeatedly targeted by vandals.

Elgin Court Public School at 254 First Ave. has been damaged several times by individuals loitering at the back of the building, St. Thomas police said. The school backs onto Holland Street.

The most recent incident saw a fire set using wood chips from the school's play equipment.

Anyone with information about the mischief that has been taking place behind the school or who sees anything suspicious is asked to call police at 519-631-1224.
