One person sent to hospital after east London crash

One person has been taken to hospital after two vehicles collided at a busy east London intersection Wednesday morning.

Emergency crews were called to the crash at Hamilton Road and Highbury Avenue around 8:45 a.m.

The London Fire Department confirmed one person was hurt, but the extent of the injuries has not been released.

Eastbound Hamilton and northbound Highbury were temporarily blocked following the crash. The roads were cleared around 9:45 a.m.

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
