Multiple suspects arrested following east London shooting

Police have made three arrests in connection to a shooting that killed a 27-year-old London man last Wednesday.

In an update on Saturday, police announced that Denny Doucet, 40, Nicole Moyer, 35, both of London, and Jason Sylvestre, 36, of Windsor, have been charged with manslaughter in the death of Scotty William Pate, of London.

All suspects remain in custody and are scheduled to appear in a London court in relation to the charge.

Around 9 p.m. October 7, police were called about a shooting in the area of Ashland Avenue and Dundas Street. Officers arrived to find a man, later identified as Pate, suffering from a gunshot wound. He was rushed to the hospital where he died from his injuries.

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
