Local health officials have reported five new confirmed cases of COVID-19 in London and Middlesex County.

The Middlesex London Health Unit says the new cases bring the region's total since the start of the pandmic to 1,009. Of the 1,009 people who have tested positive for the virus, 860 have recovered. There have been 57 deaths related to the coronavirus in the community, but none since June 12. There are 92 active cases in the region.
